SAVE OUR TRADITIONAL MEDICINES
The interest in traditional medicine is enjoying a revival. In this lesson the learners are introduced to a variety of South African and European medicinal plants through activities that focus on their traditional use and their economic importance. Different teas are made to demonstrate their healing properties. Lastly we emphasise the sustainable use and conservation of indigenous medicinal plants.
